Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi.
- Meet your guide for a detailed briefing, equipment check, and final preparations.
- Rest and acclimatize in preparation for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Lemosho Gate (2,385 meters) to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820 meters)
- After breakfast, drive to the Lemosho Gate where the trek begins.
- Register at the gate and commence the trek through the lush rainforest.
- Witness the abundant flora and fauna along the way.
- Reach Mti Mkubwa Camp, situated at 2,820 meters, and set up camp for the night.
Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp (3,505 meters)
- Continue the journey, leaving the rainforest behind and entering the heather and moorland zone.
- Marvel at the changing landscapes as you ascend gradually.
- Arrive at Shira 1 Camp, located at 3,505 meters, and settle into camp for the night.
Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp (3,900 meters)
- Ascend further through the scenic Shira Plateau, surrounded by vast open spaces.
- Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Kibo and Mount Meru.
- Reach Shira 2 Camp at an elevation of 3,900 meters and spend the night.

- Begin the summit attempt in the early hours of the morning, guided by headlamps.
- Trek to Stella Point (5,685 meters), where you’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise.
- Push forward to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, standing at 5,895 meters.

Day 9: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters) and Departure

- Check out from the hotel.
