Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
As you walk out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal poppy safaris guide greets you with a big smile: ‘Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!’ The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the African atmosphere. The next day your guide takes you on an exclusive, private safari that allows you to travel at your own pace. Enjoy the luxury of your own safari jeep and take the liberty to stop and watch the animals as long as you like.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park lies between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, right along the 400 meters deep Great Rift Valley. The park boasts a variety of landscapes that attract many different animals. You can for example visit the lake that covers 75 percent of the park, pass through a dense rainforest with hundreds of monkeys and birds, and see elephants up close in the woodlands.

Day 3 – 4: Serengeti National Park (central west/east)
After breakfast, you’ll pick up a lunchbox from your lodging and travel on to Lake Manyara National Park, the ultimate safari location. This park is 120 kilometers west of Arusha and is very small but diversified. A little salt lake bears the park’s name. It covers a sizable portion of the park, changing its moisture content with the seasons. Thousands of flamingos and more than 500 different bird species call it home. Monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and, hopefully, lions relaxing in the trees can all be seen while exploring the park. The park is renowned for its diverse topography, which includes cliffs covered with baobab trees, as well as broad, grassy plains and woodlands home to primates. You will proceed directly to your lodging in Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay at Eileen’s Trees Inn or a comparable establishment after another game drive.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)
The famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos surround you, and the views are astounding.

Day 6 – 7: The last day and your flight home from Kilimanjaro Int. Airport
The last day! Depending on your flight time, you can relax in the lodge a bit longer before our driver takes you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home. Having second thoughts? It’s also possible to add a few days to your holiday by going to one of Tanzania’s paradise islands, such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia!
