Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN TANZANIA – ARUSHA
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Poppy Africa Safaris and transferred to your lodge in Arusha.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich birdlife. During the dry season, wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, offering excellent game viewing.

DAY 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Today you explore Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and dramatic Rift Valley escarpments.

DAY 4: LAKE EYASI – CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
Travel to Lake Eyasi for a unique cultural experience:
Visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa
Explore Datoga villages and learn about traditional lifestyles

DAY 5: HADZABE EXPERIENCE – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Start early with a walking experience alongside the Hadzabe people, learning their hunting techniques, tracking skills, and bush survival methods.
Later, proceed to Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive.

After an early morning game drive, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife destinations, offering sightings of lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and more.
In the afternoon, return to Arusha.

DAY 8: ARUSHA – KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
