Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Lemosho Glades to Mti Mkubwa Camp

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Lemosho Gate, and trek through lush rainforest. Spot monkeys, birds, and exotic plants before arriving at Mti Mkubwa Camp for dinner and overnight.
Climb gradually out of the forest into moorland terrain. Cross streams and ridges with breathtaking views before reaching Shira 1 Camp on the plateau.
Trek gently across the scenic Shira Plateau. Enjoy views of Kibo Peak and Mount Meru while adjusting to the altitude. Overnight at Shira 2 Camp.
Ascend steadily to Moir Hut, tucked beneath dramatic lava ridges. The camp offers tranquility and a chance for short acclimatization hikes around the area.
Head north around Kilimanjaro’s slopes with fewer trekkers in sight. Walk across alpine terrain before reaching Buffalo Camp, where expansive northern views stretch toward Kenya.
Continue along the northern circuit trail with moderate ascents and descents. Arrive at Third Cave Camp in the afternoon, perfect for further acclimatization.
Trek across arid highland desert toward School Hut, the base camp for your summit attempt. Rest, hydrate, and prepare for the final ascent.
Start the climb at midnight toward Stella Point and onward to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Celebrate at the summit before descending via Barafu to Mweka Camp for rest.
Make the final descent through rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for onward travel.
