Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. During the dry season, wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, offering excellent game viewing.
Overnight: Tarangire Safari Lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner (Full Board)
Day 2: Cultural Tourism – Lake Eyasi
Today you will experience authentic Hadzabe cultural tourism. Join the Hadzabe people and learn traditional survival skills such as:
Making fire using dry sticks
Hunting with bows and arrows
Gathering wild fruits, tubers, and roots
Traditional tribal dances
This experience lasts approximately 3–4 hours and offers a rare insight into one of Tanzania’s oldest tribes.

Day 3: Lake Eyasi – Serengeti National Park
Travel towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, with an optional visit to Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. After lunch, enjoy your first game drive across the endless plains of the Serengeti.
Overnight: Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive – Serengeti
Enjoy a full day exploring the Serengeti, following the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal). Expect to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and abundant birdlife.
Overnight: Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp

Day 5: Serengeti Game Viewing
Another exciting day in the Serengeti. Visit hippo pools, rocky kopjes, and predator hotspots. Your guide will select the best areas depending on wildlife movement.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Drive along the crater rim and enjoy breathtaking views of this natural wonder while learning about Maasai culture.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge
Meals: Full Board
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Karatu
Descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino. Picnic lunch inside the crater before driving to Karatu.
Overnight: Eileen’s Trees Inn
Meals: Full Board
Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
Visit Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and lush groundwater forests. After the game drive and picnic lunch, return to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
